We are representing a reputable FMCG organization in the UAE seeking an accomplished Finance Manager to join its leadership team.
This role requires a commercially astute finance professional capable of operating in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment with strong governance, operational discipline, and strategic financial oversight.
Role Overview
The Finance Manager will be responsible for leading end-to-end financial operations, ensuring robust financial control, accurate reporting, and effective decision support to senior management.
The role demands hands-on involvement in business finance, coupled with the ability to influence operational and commercial decisions.
Key Requirements
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least recent experience in a Finance Manager role
- Mandatory experience within the FMCG industry in the UAE or GCC region
- Professional qualification preferred (CMA / CIP or equivalent)
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Solid understanding of working capital management and cash flow optimisation
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems; Focus ERP exposure will be an advantage
- Strong leadership capability with experience managing finance teams
- High level of analytical thinking and commercial awareness
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic, target-driven environment
- Immediate availability or short notice period preferred
Core Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in compliance with standards
- Ensure strong financial governance, internal controls, and regulatory compliance
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity planning effectively
- Drive cost optimisation initiatives and support margin improvement strategies
- Provide financial insights to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Partner with business leadership on performance tracking and profitability analysis
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance standards
- Coordinate internal and external audit processes and ensure timely closure of findings
- Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful management reporting to leadership
