You will be responsible for managing Data Center Computer Room Air Conditioning Systems (CRAC) sales.
Ensure that all new inquiries and leads are maximized, managed and processed accurately and on time, and that all customer quotes and orders are processed accurately within the specified time frame.
Job Description And Internal Responsibilities
► Basic knowledge of products and control systems as well as understanding of Schneider Electric APC cooling systems is an advantage, technology from other suppliers is also welcomed.
► Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude both within the team and in the marketplace
► Achieving predetermined technical goals and objectives in the short and medium term
► Ensure UAE meets market specific product requirements and testing certifications.
► Make timely technical/equipment selections within the product portfolio (considering equipment type, manufacturing plant, etc.)
► Prepare and send quotes linked to the Sales process.
► Prepare KPIs for weekly sales meetings. ► Successfully negotiate with customers – convert quotes into orders
► Training and continuously developing the latest technology models and updating technology events and fairs.
► Have a deep understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
► Supervise the preparation of quotes for complex projects.
External Responsibilities
► Support customers – developers, architects, interior designers, consultants, contractors and subcontractors – in the selection of systems and system components.
► Conduct presentations and seminars on all types of products and systems when necessary.
► Determine market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by ongoing visits to customers and non-customers.
► Promote innovative products and solutions to designers.
► Understand our customers and prospects – product preferences / payment terms / design capabilities / etc. ► Maintain and/or improve relationships with current customers
► Continuously build new relationships with customers and secure new business opportunities.
► Identify and evaluate speaking opportunities in the UAE where industry experts will be present
Qualification
► Minimum 5 years of corporate business development experience in the power industry and/or data center
► Proven experience in managing direct and indirect customers from diverse product lines and customer segments
► Excellent communication and presentation skills
► Experience with ERP systems or similar enterprise systems is preferred
