Consulting Manager - Life Sciences Business Analyst

About the role

Responsibilities

• Lead business discovery and current-state assessments and translate complex needs into priorities and recommendations.
• Plan and facilitate stakeholder workshops to elicit, validate, and prioritize enterprise requirements.
• Develop requirements documents, process maps, user journeys, and capability assessments.
• Evaluate vendor and commercial off-the-shelf solutions, including build-versus-buy options.
• Develop business cases with cost-benefit and investment recommendations.
• Prepare executive-ready presentations, briefings, and strategic recommendations.

Required skills

• Strong experience in business analysis, digital transformation, enterprise platform assessment, or technology transformation.
• Independently engage senior business and IT stakeholders and facilitate executive-level workshops.
• Experience eliciting, documenting, analyzing, and prioritizing complex enterprise requirements.
• Experience with solution assessments, build-versus-buy analysis, and technology investment business cases.
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills; able to work independently.

Additional experience

• Enterprise platform modernization, cost-benefit analysis, capability assessments, user journeys, and process mapping are helpful.
• Experience in R&D, scientific, laboratory, life sciences, or other regulated environments is helpful.

Compensation

• Base salary is CAD 110,000–130,000 per year; the position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance-based bonus and benefits.

Working arrangements

• Hybrid position requiring three days per week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto or Mississauga, Ontario.
