Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Consultant in Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU) to join a leading private healthcare provider in Dubai . This is a senior-level role within a modern, well-equipped PICU, delivering advanced critical care to infants, children, and adolescents. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing high-acuity pediatric cases , contributing to clinical excellence, and supporting the ongoing development of critical care services. Key Responsibilities Provide expert care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit , managing critically ill neonates, infants, and children Lead the management of complex and high-acuity cases , including respiratory failure, sepsis, trauma, and post-operative care Perform advanced procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, ventilator management, and hemodynamic monitoring Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including pediatric subspecialists, anesthetists, and nursing staff Participate in on-call rota and emergency response within the hospital Contribute to clinical governance, audits, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives Support training and supervision of junior medical staff
