Construction Project Manager

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the Enclosure team and maintain a positive work environment.
• Establish project success criteria for time, cost, technical, and performance outcomes.
• Communicate risks, schedules, budgets, costs, and changes with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
• Plan and manage quality, safety, health, and environmental matters; develop the detailed project plan.
• Facilitate the cross-functional project team and monitor performance using techniques such as scorecards.
• Manage project information flow through regular meetings and written communications.
• Lead client and consultant coordination through all project stages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or construction management, or equivalent experience.
• At least ten years as a Project Manager of commercial building projects valued at $50 million or more.
• Experience with complex facades on large-scale projects, or equivalent education and experience.
• Lean Construction experience or ability to adapt to new methodologies.
• Record of leading projects completed safely, on time, and on budget.
• Ability to uphold safety, ethics, and compliance; lead collaboratively; manage multiple priorities; and maintain professional client relationships.
• Attention to quality and workmanship; ability to read drawings, blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
• Construction software proficiency; Procore is preferred and Microsoft Office is required.
• Understanding of project-level accounting and ability to leverage technology in construction.
• Preconstruction and/or estimating experience.
