MOBCO Group is seeking an experienced Construction Manager for major construction activities on projects in Dubai.
The role requires experience with large-scale and mega projects in the UAE, including high-rise buildings, luxury villas, residential developments, or other complex building projects.
Key responsibilities
- Manage construction activities from mobilization through completion and handover.
- Lead site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers; plan and monitor schedules, resources, manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, method statements, quality standards, HSE requirements, project procedures, and UAE regulations.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, technical and commercial teams, and project management; resolve technical and site issues across disciplines.
- Track progress, milestones, deadlines, productivity, and subcontractor performance; take corrective action as needed.
- Identify risks, delays, and potential project issues, and implement mitigation measures.
- Provide regular progress updates and reports to senior management.
Requirements
- 15+ years of proven experience in construction management.
- A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
- Proven experience on mega or large-scale construction projects in the UAE.
- Strong experience in luxury villa developments, high-rise buildings, or other major building projects.
- Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, standards, authorities, and site requirements.
- Demonstrated experience managing large site teams and multiple subcontractors.
- Strong understanding of project planning, construction methodologies, quality control, HSE, and project coordination.
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Able to manage projects under demanding schedules and challenging site conditions.
Preferred candidate location
Candidates currently in the UAE and available for immediate transfer are preferred.
Dubai-based candidates or candidates ready to relocate or transfer to Dubai are strongly preferred.
