About The Role

Euro Mechanical is seeking an experienced

Construction Manager – Offshore (Mechanical)

to lead and manage offshore mechanical construction activities for EPC projects in the oil & gas sector.

The role will be responsible for overseeing offshore installations, piping fabrication, equipment erection, lifting operations, pre-commissioning support, and mechanical completion activities while ensuring compliance with project specifications, ADNOC standards, offshore safety systems, and HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee offshore mechanical construction activities covering piping, valves, static and rotating equipment, skids, and structural works, ensuring execution as per IFC drawings, project specifications, and applicable ASME, API, and ISO codes.
Plan, coordinate, and execute offshore construction work in line with project schedules, logistics plans, marine operations, SIMOPS requirements, and brownfield interface activities on live platforms.
Lead and monitor lifting operations by reviewing lifting plans, coordinating with marine teams, DP vessels, barges, and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards and safe lifting procedures.
Coordinate with ADNOC, PMC, subcontractors, marine teams, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth offshore execution, timely progress, and effective resolution of site constraints.
Supervise pre-commissioning and mechanical completion activities including flushing, hydrotesting, nitrogen leak testing, reinstatement, punch list clearance, and system handover.
Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, PTW procedures, confined space entry, work-at-height protocols, and ADNOC Life Saving Rules while maintaining site documentation and mentoring offshore supervisors.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent, with 12–18 years of relevant experience in offshore mechanical construction within EPC oil & gas projects.
Proven ADNOC offshore mechanical construction experience, with strong knowledge of ADNOC standards or equivalent offshore operator procedures.
Hands-on experience in equipment erection, offshore lifting, mechanical packages, skids, rotating/static equipment, and complex piping systems.
Strong understanding of pre-commissioning, commissioning support, discipline handovers, and system readiness protocols.
Skilled in preparing and reviewing method statements, lift studies, risk assessments, lifting plans, and offshore work procedures.
Strong leadership, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in offshore environments.
Strong commitment to HSE compliance, offshore safety culture, project delivery, and working within schedule and budget requirements.
