Construction Lawyer – Contentious (2+ PQE)

A leading international law firm is seeking a talented and driven Construction Lawyer to join its highly regarded disputes team in Dubai.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-value, complex construction and infrastructure disputes across the GCC, acting for major contractors, developers and employers on contentious matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting on a broad range of contentious construction and infrastructure disputes, including arbitration, litigation and adjudication.
  • Advising clients on contractual disputes arising from EPC contracts, construction agreements and related project documentation.
  • Assisting with dispute resolution strategy, including risk assessment and case preparation.
  • Working on large-scale, high-value construction and infrastructure disputes across the region.
  • Supporting partners and senior lawyers on major arbitration and court proceedings.
  • Liaising with experts, counsel and clients throughout the dispute lifecycle.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified lawyer with 2+ years' PQE in contentious construction or construction disputes.
  • Experience handling arbitration, litigation or adjudication matters within the construction and infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, including EPC and FIDIC-based arrangements.
  • Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
  • Commercially aware with strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Motivated, collaborative and keen to develop within a leading disputes practice.
