Role Description
The Condition Monitoring Manager is a part-time hybrid role based in Dubai, with a combination of on-site presence and work from home.
The role involves planning, implementing, and overseeing condition monitoring programs for equipment and assets to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
The manager will collect and analyze data from various monitoring tools and techniques, prepare reports on asset health, and recommend maintenance actions or corrective measures.
Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with maintenance and operations teams, scheduling inspections, tracking performance indicators, and refining monitoring strategies based on findings.
The role also includes collaborating with vendors or service providers as needed and ensuring all monitoring activities comply with relevant safety, quality, and operational standards.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in condition monitoring techniques (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis) and reliability-centered maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis, report preparation, and use of monitoring software or CMMS tools to interpret trends and recommend actions.
- Solid understanding of mechanical and rotating equipment, industrial systems, or similar technical environments.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid setup, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a part-time schedule.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Relevant certifications in condition monitoring, reliability, or maintenance (e.g., ISO, Vibration Analysis, Asset Management) are an advantage.
- Previous experience in a condition monitoring, reliability, or maintenance management role in industrial, utilities, or manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.
