Concierge role in Rooms & Guest Services Operations at The Ritz-Carlton in Doha, Qatar.

Guest services and operations
- Arrange guest services such as transportation, reservations, and dry cleaning, or identify appropriate providers.
- Handle special requests and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Provide information about the property, nearby amenities, events, and activities.
- Process guest calls, messages, requests, questions, and concerns; contact appropriate departments to resolve issues.
- Review shift logs and daily memo books and document pertinent information.
- Monitor club lounge seating, service, safety, and guest well-being.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions and complete safety training and certifications.
Service and team standards
- Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, assist guests with disabilities, and express appreciation.
- Communicate professionally, prepare accurate written documents, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to colleagues’ concerns.
- Follow company policies and quality standards; maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and perform other reasonable duties as requested.
Preferred qualifications and physical duties
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- No related work experience or supervisory experience is required; no license or certification is specified.
- The role involves standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods or an entire shift and handling objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
