Key Responsibilities
- Acting as a liaison between the school, families, and behavioral health services
- Supporting students with individualized, goal-oriented behavioral health services
- Providing education, coaching, and skill-building to students, families, and school staff
- Collaborating with school teams and other professionals to advocate for student needs
- Assisting families in navigating and accessing resources in the community
- Completing wellness plans, documentation, and assessments in accordance with agency standards
- Helping students and families build natural support systems and long-term resilience
- Driving to school and community locations to provide services as needed
Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Are energized by working in schools and supporting youth through a trauma-informed lens
- Are confident navigating both education and behavioral health systems
- Value collaboration and advocacy as tools for improving student outcomes
- Can communicate effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Are passionate about creating safe, supportive environments where students can thrive
