Position
Coating In-Charge / Coating Manager for steel pipe and pipeline coating operations.
Experience range: 8–15 years.
Key responsibilities
- Manage complete coating plant operations, production and quality activities.
- Control surface preparation, blasting parameters and environmental conditions.
- Monitor coating thickness, adhesion, holiday detection, curing and other specified tests.
- Manage coating inspection, final inspection, repairs and rework.
- Prepare or review ITPs, coating procedures, inspection reports, test reports and traceability records.
- Calibrate and control coating inspection equipment.
- Handle customer, consultant and third-party inspections and audits.
- Investigate coating defects, conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate manpower, materials and production schedules while minimizing rejection and rework.
Mandatory qualifications and experience
- NACE Level II or NACE Level III certification is mandatory.
- Minimum 8–15 years of relevant coating experience.
- Strong practical experience in FBE, 3LPE, 3LPP and abrasive blasting.
- Hands-on steel pipe or pipeline coating plant operations experience in an API 5L-certified company.
- Experience with customer, consultant and third-party inspection requirements.
Pay
- AED 12,000–15,000 per month.
