Role Summary
A hostess welcomes guests, creates a friendly and engaging atmosphere, and helps ensure customers have an enjoyable experience during their visit.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival.
- Escort guests to their tables or seating areas.
- Engage in polite conversation with customers and make them feel comfortable.
- Serve drinks or coordinate drink service as required.
- Maintain a professional, friendly, and presentable appearance.
- Assist in promoting a positive and entertaining atmosphere.
- Handle customer requests and communicate them to management or service staff.
- Follow venue policies regarding customer service, safety, and conduct.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused personality.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience in hospitality, customer service, or entertainment is often preferred but may not be required.
