Lead large-scale cloud operations supporting cloud infrastructure, multi-cloud management platforms, and digital services.
Ensure operational excellence, availability, security, and cost efficiency across hybrid and multi-cloud environments while advancing cloud-native telecom architectures.
Cloud operations leadership
- Define telecom- and IT-aligned cloud operations strategy, operating models, standards, and transformation plans.
- Oversee 24/7 operations, availability, resilience, disaster recovery, and service-level performance.
- Govern incident, problem, and change processes; develop operating models and roadmaps for cloud migrations and deployments.
- Plan capacity and resources, optimize utilization and cost, and assess infrastructure performance and reliability.
- Manage audits, risks, compliance, cloud security controls, vulnerability assessments, and security reviews.
- Manage vendors, partners, operational SLAs, and cross-functional telecom engineering relationships.
- Guide internal teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to OPEX budgets, TCO analysis, and cost optimization.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's or master's degree in telecommunications, electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
- 20+ years of IT and telecom infrastructure operations experience, including 10+ years leading cloud, infrastructure, or platform operations teams.
- Strong telecom experience with 5G, NFV, OSS, and BSS platforms; track record leading large-scale cloud transformation and modernization.
- Strong knowledge of telecom technologies, cloud platforms, virtualization, containerization, and cloud-native architectures.
- Strategic planning, leadership, execution, executive communication, stakeholder management, and geographically distributed, multi-vendor team leadership.
- Cloud certifications such as AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenShift, or Kubernetes are highly desirable.
