The role joins a high-performing team delivering cloud solutions across Melbourne, Canberra, or Brisbane.
The position contributes to AWS-led transformation projects with a strong DevOps and automation focus.
The engineer delivers secure, scalable cloud environments across multi-environment platforms.
Security Eligibility
- Because of the secure nature of the role, candidates must be Australian citizens or hold active security clearance.
- At least Baseline security clearance is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support cloud-native solutions on AWS.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, including YAML and classic pipelines.
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Support containerisation using Docker and microservices-based architectures.
- Manage deployments across development, test, pre-production, and production environments.
- Collaborate on solution design, technical specifications, and delivery planning.
- Ensure operational readiness through runbooks, documentation, and automation.
- Support Linux-based environments and Shell or PowerShell scripting.
- Contribute to proof-of-concept, estimation, and solution design activities.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, including Build/Release and YAML.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Experience with containerisation using Docker and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Working knowledge of JSON and YAML for configuration and pipelines.
- Experience managing multi-environment deployments.
- Strong scripting skills with Shell or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with Linux systems administration.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Experience in .NET full-stack development.
- Exposure to cloud automation and DevOps engineering practices.
- Understanding of cloud enterprise architecture and service management.
- Experience with IT infrastructure operations in complex environments.
