Role Overview
We are seeking a senior
Client Relationship Manager – Payments Project Delivery
to lead high‑value client engagements and oversee the successful delivery of large‑scale banking and payments programs.
This role combines
strategic client relationship management
with
hands‑on leadership of complex payment project delivery
, ensuring operational excellence, commercial growth, and long‑term client success.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary relationship owner for key banking and financial services clients, ensuring high satisfaction and long‑term partnerships.
- Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of complex payments and transaction‑processing projects, managing scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
- Oversee large‑scale, multi‑stakeholder payments initiatives, ensuring alignment between business, technology, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive service quality, delivery governance, and continuous improvement, ensuring programs are delivered on time and within budget.
- Identify and execute account growth opportunities, supporting revenue expansion through upsell, cross‑sell, and value‑added services.
- Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, vendors, and delivery teams to resolve issues and maintain delivery excellence.
Required Experience & Skills
- 15+ years of experience in banking, financial services, or payments, with a strong focus on payments delivery and client engagement.
- Proven success managing senior client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor within complex financial environments.
- Extensive experience delivering large‑scale payments projects, including core payments platforms, clearing, settlement, or real‑time payments.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing contracts, revenue targets, and client profitability.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills, capable of influencing at executive level.
- Experience working in regional or multinational delivery environments, preferably within the Middle East.
