Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Manage a small team, including rotas, holidays and performance.
• Deliver training to cleaning operatives and keep records updated correctly.
• Conduct weekly cleaning audits and escalate areas of concern.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines.
• The role may involve heavy industrial equipment, specialist chemicals and working at height.

Candidate criteria

• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role is required.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Willingness to work at height is required.
• Cleaning or food-manufacturing experience is advantageous.
• COSHH and IOSH training are desirable.
• Access to a smartphone that supports approved work applications is required for relevant scheduling, clocking, training and communications tasks.
