Role purpose

Supports operational teams in long-term asset-management strategies across multiple accounts.

Provides asset-management leadership and governance to standardise asset and maintenance management.

Works with operational, technical, and central support functions on asset data, CAFM processes, assurance, and lifecycle planning.

UK-wide travel is required, expected to represent approximately 20% of the role, with support across multiple sites.

Working hours

  • Working hours are 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.

Asset strategy and governance

  • Guide maintenance strategies, asset performance, lifecycle planning, and asset replacement across the portfolio.
  • Implement asset-management policies, procedures, standards, and documentation in line with ISO 55001 principles.
  • Support mobilisations, asset onboarding, and maintenance-regime development.

Data, systems, and planning

  • Own asset data and CAFM systems and develop reporting for benchmarking, asset comparisons, and client decisions.
  • Analyse asset performance and data-quality exceptions and inform site teams.
  • Maintain asset histories, lifecycle plans, 10-year lifecycle cost projections, and 5-year capital investment forecasts.
  • Improve CAFM information capture from fault diagnosis through job completion and develop reporting tools with Business Intelligence Analysts.

Continuous improvement

  • Review asset-management processes and performance and support improvement plans.
  • Facilitate risk-based methods and provide account teams with knowledge, training, and tools.
  • Support planned and reactive work standards, replacement and refurbishment plans, and capital planning.
  • Maintain strategic relationships with Operations and IT to support change and customer needs.

Essential criteria

  • HNC/HND or equivalent in a relevant hard-services discipline, plus demonstrable asset and lifecycle management, customer service, and change-management experience.
  • Knowledge of asset-management best practice, ISO 55001, and maintenance-management methods.
  • Strong CAFM/CMMS and asset-information management experience.
  • Excellent Microsoft 365 and Excel skills and detailed understanding of data-analysis techniques.
  • Ability to develop lifecycle models, replacement/refurbishment plans, and capital forecasts.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication across operational, technical, IT, procurement, and client teams.
  • Experience with mobilisations, asset onboarding, and maintenance-strategy development.
