Role overview

Safety and supervision

• Promote safety culture and ensure work complies with company, regulatory, and HSE requirements.
• Participate in safety walks, investigations, risk assessments, and hazard identification; identify and mitigate risks.
• Supervise contractors and subcontractors onsite and monitor productivity, work quality, and schedules.
• Support the Structural Engineer with civil maintenance planning and execution.

Technical assurance and maintenance

• Ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, procedures, and quality standards; review work method statements and maintenance procedures.
• Verify inspections and corrective actions, assess defects and damage, recommend repairs, and escalate structural integrity threats.
• Monitor contractor performance, clarify contract requirements, and coordinate stakeholders for timely completion.
• Oversee maintenance involving concrete, structures, buildings, industrial facilities, marine structures, and process plant infrastructure.
• Maintain work records and closeout reports; develop structured work packs and maintenance plans.

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant civil maintenance experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, fertilizer, or heavy industrial sectors.
• At least 3 years supervising maintenance or construction activities; candidate criteria also state 10 years or more of experience.
• Strong experience in concrete repair, structural maintenance, and marine infrastructure maintenance.
• Knowledge of civil maintenance, inspection and repair methods, drawing interpretation, contractor supervision, quality assurance, asset integrity, and structural reliability.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Required authorization: Civil Supervisor QAFCO Ops Tier-1 Manpower Contract (REQ-027).
