Role overview
Civil Site Engineer role focused on piling and shoring foundation works.
Minimum experience of 5 years is specified.

Planning and site execution
- Review project specifications, drawings, and geotechnical reports for piling and shoring works.
- Supervise rotary piles, micropiles, driven piles, and CFA piles where applicable.
- Oversee soldier piles, sheet piles, secant piles, diaphragm walls, and strutting or bracing systems.
- Verify pile setting out, orientation, alignment, borehole depth and diameter, reinforcement cage installation, and concrete pouring.
Quality and testing
- Inspect compliance with project specifications, Dubai Municipality regulations, and industry standards.
- Monitor pile verticality and integrity and shoring installation accuracy.
- Ensure PIT, load, and concrete cube testing is conducted.
- Review material quality for steel, concrete, bentonite, and shoring materials.
Safety and environment
- Ensure piling and shoring works follow safety protocols and risk assessments.
- Conduct toolbox talks and ensure proper PPE use on site.
- Monitor and mitigate vibration, noise, and ground movement impacts.
Reporting, coordination, and delivery
- Prepare daily reports, progress updates, method statements, and inspection requests; maintain drilling, concrete pouring, testing, and as-built records.
- Assist with technical submittals and responses to consultant comments.
- Identify geotechnical issues, including hard strata, groundwater, collapsible soil, and obstructions, and coordinate technical solutions.
- Manage equipment breakdown, site access, and sequencing constraints with project and design teams.
- Coordinate with surveyors, HSE teams, suppliers, batching plants, testing laboratories, consultants, main contractors, and subcontractors.
- Monitor equipment productivity and progress against schedule; plan sequencing and resources and minimize waste and costs.
Experience and technical scope
- Minimum 5 years of experience.
- Piling and shoring work includes the methods and systems listed in the role duties.
- Work requires knowledge of project requirements, Dubai Municipality regulations, applicable testing, safety protocols, and technical records.
Pay
- AED 8,000–11,000 per month.
