Role overview

Architectural drawings and drafting

• Prepare drawings using AutoCAD and Revit, including floor plans, elevations, sections, roof plans, and detailed drawings.
• Prepare concept, schematic, design development, and construction drawings based on approved designs.
• Revise drawings in response to architect and client comments.

Authority submissions and approvals

• Prepare submissions for Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees, and other applicable authorities.
• Follow authority requirements and submission standards; incorporate comments and revise drawings for resubmission.
• Coordinate with the architect responsible for authority approvals.

Coordination and construction details

• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, and interior design departments; report discrepancies and design clashes.
• Prepare construction details, door and window schedules, staircase details, toilet and flooring layouts, and finishing details.
• Review contractor shop drawings when assigned under the responsible architect's supervision.

Drawing management and site coordination

• Maintain drawing numbering, revision histories, filing systems, drawing registers, and submission records; issue the latest approved revisions.
• Coordinate with site engineers and attend site visits when required for measurements and verification.
• Prepare as-built drawings from verified site information and incorporate approved site changes.

Quality and experience

• Minimum experience is 5–7 years.
• Check dimensions, levels, annotations, references, completeness, and coordination before submission.
• Submit drawings to the architect for checking and approval before external issue; minimize errors and repeated revisions.
