Civil Project Engineer

Project planning and delivery
- Lead civil project planning, design, implementation, and monitoring.
- Oversee budgets, schedules, and resource allocation; plan and manage resources for project execution.
- Monitor construction activities on site against approved designs and project specifications.
- Resolve on-site issues to maintain project continuity.
Quality, safety, and compliance
- Ensure projects meet relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
- Implement quality control systems and conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
- Ensure compliance with local authority and environmental regulations.
- Comply with Integrated Management Systems policies and procedures and support their effective implementation.
- Report unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, hazards, and near misses using the designated forms.
- Participate in Toolbox Talks, HSE meetings, emergency evacuation drills, and QHSE programmes; raise QHSE concerns through the appropriate representative.
Cost and procurement
- Track project costs and align spending with approved budgets.
- Prepare cost analysis reports, manage procurement processes, and approve expenditure for materials and services as needed.
Stakeholder coordination and reporting
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and project proposals for clients and senior management.
- Organize and participate in project meetings to report progress, challenges, and potential risks.
- Identify project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and address issues proactively.
Work requirements
- Communicate in English and deal with clients professionally, effectively, and courteously.
- Participate in safety meetings, Toolbox Talks, evacuation drills, and QHSE programmes.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 8,000–10,000 per month.
Workplace and employment
- Full-time role; work location is in person.
