Role overview
Seeking a General Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations with accuracy, ownership, and strong analytical skills.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable cycles and ensure timely settlements.
- Support budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Ensure accurate VAT filing and compliance with UAE regulations.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 4–6 years of accounting experience; UAE accounting experience of 2 years is also specified as required.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Compensation
- Full-time role paying AED 6,000–8,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
