The company is seeking a Civil Engineer to oversee civil and field operations for water and sanitation projects.
The role monitors network implementation and ensures work follows approved plans, specifications, schedules, quality requirements, and safety requirements.
Project delivery responsibilities
- Supervise implementation of water and sanitation networks and related works.
- Review execution plans and quantify materials.
- Monitor technical tests and inspections, including pressure and leakage tests, and oversee excavation and backfilling.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports and track performance metrics.
- Coordinate with the project manager, consultants, and contractors.
- Monitor preparation of as-built drawings and delivery documents.
Required qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and experience in water and sanitation network projects.
- Ability to read plans, understand specifications, quantify materials, and review submittals.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel.
- Ability to manage work teams, monitor contractors, and resolve field issues.
- Field experience in network execution, testing, quality control, excavation and confined-space safety, reporting, and workforce and materials planning.
- Civil 3D or GIS is listed as an additional skill.
Work location and experience
- Work location will be determined based on the project.
- Years of experience will be determined according to project requirements.
