Execution and finishing

  • Oversee execution and finishing, study plans and specifications, and supervise concrete, masonry, plastering, tiling, and ceiling works.
  • Coordinate electrical, plumbing, and HVAC works; control quality, rectify defects, and close observation lists.
  • Prepare projects for handover and final delivery.

Quantity take-off and procurement

  • Take off quantities from plans and prepare or review BOQs, project summaries, and quantities for executed or additional work.

  • Find subcontractors and suppliers, obtain and negotiate quotations, and compare bids technically and financially.

Labor and cost management

  • Distribute labor, monitor productivity and subcontractor quality and schedules, prevent waste, and reallocate unapproved costs.
  • Prepare project budgets, monitor expenses and commitments, determine contractor and supplier entitlements, and prepare project documentation.
  • Compare actual costs with budgets; forecast upcoming costs, remaining costs, profit or loss, project revenues, and collections.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and at least 7 years of overall experience, including at least 3 years in Saudi Arabia.
  • Strong project execution and finishing experience, plus experience with quantity take-offs, BOQs, pricing, and price analysis.
  • Familiarity with Saudi market prices; proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, and project management software.
  • Active Saudi Council of Engineers membership and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Leadership qualities and strong negotiation skills. For non-Saudis, the posting specifies a residency permit and ability to transfer services.

Compensation and benefits

  • Basic salary is to be discussed after the interview.
  • Company-provided housing, transportation, and medical insurance.
  • One-year work contract, renewable; development opportunities are based on performance and project results.

Selection process

  • Selection includes CV and project review, document and experience verification, practical finishing and quantity tests, pricing and cost exercises, bid comparison, oral discussion, references, and a final interview.
  • Tests use hypothetical scenarios and are not free project services. The posting states minimum overall and category scores and requires project and reference verification.
