The role coordinates civil and structural design, multidisciplinary engineering interfaces, and utility authority approvals for power infrastructure projects.
The position reports to the Design Manager or Project Manager.
Compensation
- The description states a salary of AED 15,000 to AED 18,000 per month, plus benefits and bonus.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate civil and structural design deliverables, reviews, and submissions; review drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical documents.
- Coordinate interfaces across civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, and MEP disciplines; liaise with project stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
- Manage design comments, revisions, RFIs, and document approval workflows; identify clashes and constructability issues and coordinate resolutions.
- Coordinate utility authority approvals and NOCs with TAQA, DEWA, EtihadWE, and SEWA where applicable.
- Monitor design schedules and ensure timely delivery of approved construction and as-built drawings.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and at least 10 years of relevant civil or structural engineering and design coordination experience.
- Experience in power, utilities, EPC, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit, Navisworks, or BIM knowledge is advantageous.
- Strong technical coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Good English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
- UAE/GCC project experience and utility authority approvals are highly desirable.
