About This Role

Job Purpose

Lead the organization’s enterprise-wide data, digital, AI, and media technology agenda by defining and executing a forward-looking vision. Drive digital and media transformation, enhance data maturity, and build integrated platforms that support content production, broadcasting, and organizational excellence, while improving Data Maturity Index (DMI) outcomes in alignment with national digital government directives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Vision

• Define and drive long-term strategy for data, digital, AI, and media technologies
• Align initiatives with national digital government frameworks and priorities
• Act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on emerging technologies and industry disruptions
• Translate business strategy into actionable technology roadmaps and investment plans

Digital & Media Transformation

• Lead enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives, including modernization of legacy systems
• Oversee the design and implementation of integrated digital platforms, including content workflows, digital asset management, and broadcasting systems
• Drive adoption of automation, AI, and advanced technologies to improve efficiency and engagement
• Ensure seamless integration across internal systems and external stakeholders

Data, AI & Innovation

• Define and execute enterprise data and AI strategy
• Lead high-impact analytics and AI initiatives enabling predictive insights and data-driven decision-making
• Establish a prioritized AI roadmap aligned with business value
• Ensure ethical, responsible, and transparent AI adoption
• Drive development of advanced analytics and data capabilities

Data Governance & Compliance

• Establish enterprise-wide data governance frameworks covering data quality, ownership, and lifecycle management
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements
• Identify and mitigate risks related to digital, data, and AI initiatives

Performance & Value Realization

• Define and monitor strategic KPIs for digital, data, and AI initiatives
• Drive measurable improvements in Data Maturity Index (DMI)
• Ensure delivery of ROI, operational efficiency, and service excellence
• Provide executive-level reporting on performance, risks, and transformation progress

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with government entities, sector partners, and technology providers
• Build strategic partnerships to drive innovation and knowledge exchange
• Represent the organization in relevant technology and digital forums

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field
• Master’s degree preferred

Experience

• 10–12+ years in technology, digital, or data leadership roles
• Minimum 8–10 years in managerial or executive positions
• Proven track record in digital transformation, data and AI implementation, and enterprise platforms
• Experience in government, media, or large enterprise environments is preferred

Certifications (Preferred)

• Data governance (e.g., DAMA, CDMP)
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• AI / Data Science certifications
• Enterprise architecture or digital transformation certifications (e.g., TOGAF)
