Chief People Officer - Crypto Exchange
About This Role
We have been retained by a rapidly scaling global digital asset platform to appoint a Chief People Officer to help shape the next phase of organisational growth.
The company has evolved from a leading cryptocurrency trading platform into a broader financial ecosystem, offering a range of products spanning digital asset trading, financial services and payments. As the business continues to expand internationally, the organisation must scale in sophistication, governance and leadership capability to support its long-term ambitions.
This appointment will partner closely with the Founder and executive leadership team to build a globally scalable organisation capable of operating across multiple markets, regulatory environments and product lines.
Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is required given the global and multicultural stakeholder environment.
The Opportunity
The Chief People Officer will lead the global people and organisational strategy, ensuring the company has the structure, leadership capability and talent infrastructure required to support continued international expansion.
Key priorities will include:
- Acting as a strategic advisor to the Founder and executive team on organisational design, leadership development and long-term workforce strategy
- Leading the global people function across multiple regions and business units
- Designing organisational structures and operating models that enable the company to scale efficiently across markets
- Building a world-class leadership bench through strategic hiring, succession planning and leadership development initiatives
- Establishing robust HR governance frameworks that support operations across regulated jurisdictions
- Aligning people practices with local regulatory requirements and regional cultural dynamics as the business expands internationally
- Driving a high-performance culture through clear performance management, accountability and leadership standards
- Supporting organisational transformation as the company evolves into a broader global financial platform
- Implementing scalable HR systems, analytics and operating processes to enable data-driven people decisions
The Profile
We are seeking an experienced people leader who has operated at executive level within fast-growing, globally distributed organisations.
The successful candidate will bring:
- Significant experience leading global HR or people functions within high-growth technology, fintech or digital platform businesses
- A strong track record partnering with founders or senior executives on organisational strategy and leadership decisions
- Broad functional expertise across the full people spectrum including business partnering, talent acquisition, organisational development, compensation and HR operations
- Experience supporting organisations operating across multiple international markets and regulatory environments
- Demonstrated success building scalable organisations in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence and challenge senior leadership constructively
- Experience within crypto, fintech or digital technology environments would be advantageous
