We are partnering with a high-growth, founder-led consumer business to appoint an exceptional Chief Marketing Officer.
This is a rare opportunity to join an ambitious organisation at a pivotal stage of growth and take full ownership of the marketing function, driving customer acquisition, brand growth, retention and commercial performance across multiple channels and markets.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for shaping the company's growth strategy while building a world-class marketing organisation capable of supporting significant future scale.
Strategic Impact
The Chief Marketing Officer will lead all aspects of marketing performance, customer growth and brand development, with accountability for delivering sustainable revenue growth, customer acquisition efficiency and long-term customer value.
This role requires a unique blend of commercial acumen, strategic thinking and operational excellence.
The successful candidate must be equally comfortable setting long-term vision, influencing executive stakeholders and driving execution through high-performing teams.
Key Areas Of Responsibility
- Define and execute the overall marketing and growth strategy aligned to business objectives
- Lead customer acquisition, retention and lifetime value growth across all channels
- Drive brand awareness, customer engagement and market expansion initiatives
- Own marketing investment, budgeting, forecasting and contribution to overall business performance
- Oversee performance marketing, content, creative, CRM, customer lifecycle, influencer and partnership strategies
- Build scalable marketing capabilities, systems and operating frameworks
- Champion data-driven decision making, experimentation and innovation across the organisation
- Leverage emerging technologies, automation and AI to enhance marketing effectiveness and operational efficiency
- Build, develop and inspire high-performing marketing leadership teams
- Partner closely with the CEO and executive leadership team on strategic growth initiatives
- Manage key agency, technology and strategic partner relationships
Leadership Profile
- Proven experience operating at CMO, VP Marketing, Chief Growth Officer or equivalent executive leadership level
- Track record of scaling high-growth consumer, DTC, e-commerce or digital-first businesses
- Strong expertise across brand, performance marketing, customer acquisition and retention
- Demonstrated success managing substantial marketing budgets and delivering measurable commercial outcomes
- Deep understanding of modern marketing channels, customer behaviour and growth strategies
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience influencing business-wide decision making
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience building and leading large, high-performing teams
- Experience operating within fast-paced, entrepreneurial and founder-led environments
