About This Role

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Finance & Leadership

  • Lead and develop the group finance function across FP&A, accounting, treasury, reporting, and commercial finance
  • Partner closely with executive leadership on growth strategy, business performance, and expansion initiatives
  • Build a strong finance business-partnering culture across operations and development teams

Capital Strategy & Investor Management

  • Support debt and equity funding initiatives linked to expansion and growth plans
  • Manage relationships with banking partners, investors, and external financial stakeholders
  • Deliver high-quality Board reporting, financial analysis, and strategic insights

Commercial & Operational Finance

  • Drive profitability and operational performance across multiple business units and locations
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and performance analysis
  • Monitor and improve key commercial KPIs including margins, labour costs, operating efficiencies, and cash generation

Expansion & Investment Analysis

  • Lead financial evaluation of new sites, refurbishments, and strategic growth projects
  • Oversee CapEx planning and investment appraisal processes
  • Support strategic partnerships, franchise opportunities, acquisitions, and market expansion initiatives

Governance & Risk

  • Ensure strong financial controls, compliance, governance, and reporting standards across jurisdictions
  • Manage financial risk including liquidity, FX exposure, and capital structure optimisation

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as CFO, Finance Director, VP Finance, or equivalent senior finance leadership role
  • Strong background within: Hospitality, Restaurants, Retail
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial finance, growth environments, and operational performance management
  • Exposure to fundraising, investor relations, expansion projects, or corporate finance activities is highly advantageous
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management capability
  • Professional qualification preferred (ACA / ACCA / CPA / CFA)

Essential Requirement

  • Arabic speaking is mandatory
