Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company's financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Monitor and improve cash flow, profitability, and financial performance.
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports to senior management and shareholders.
- Oversee accounting, treasury, taxation, payroll, and financial controls.
- Ensure compliance with UAE laws, financial regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, insurance providers, and regulatory authorities.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, business expansion plans, and strategic initiatives.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls and risk management frameworks.
- Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, financing arrangements, and corporate restructuring activities when required.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board based on financial analysis and business performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CA is highly preferred.
- MBA or Master's Degree is an advantage.
- Minimum 10–15 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, corporate finance, budgeting, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience managing multi-entity operations is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
