About This Role
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting and financial operations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Reconcile bank accounts and ensure all financial records are accurate and up to date.
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for cost control and profitability improvement.
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, tax laws, and audit requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and government authorities when required.
- Develop and implement internal financial controls and procedures.
- Support senior management with financial analysis, reporting, and strategic planning.
- Lead and supervise the accounting team and ensure efficient workflow within the department.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monitor financial performance against targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- at least 2 years experience as an Accounts Manager, Financial Manager, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Experience with accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
