Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Chief Financial Officer role based in Abu Dhabi.
The CFO will oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and long-term financial planning aligned with the organization’s strategic goals.
Responsibilities
include leading the preparation and analysis of financial statements, managing financial reporting cycles, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
The role will provide financial insight and recommendations to the executive team and board, support investment and capital allocation decisions, and evaluate financial risks and opportunities.
The CFO will also develop and mentor the finance team, implement robust internal controls, optimize financial processes and systems, and collaborate with other departments to drive sustainable growth and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance, with proven experience in senior financial leadership roles (preferably as CFO or senior finance executive).
- Demonstrated expertise in Financial Planning and budgeting, including forecasting, scenario analysis, and long-term strategic finance.
- Advanced proficiency in preparing, analyzing, and interpreting Financial Statements and Financial Reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly developed Analytical Skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear recommendations and strategic insights.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards relevant to Abu Dhabi and international markets.
- Proven experience in cash flow management, capital structure optimization, and stakeholder management (banks, investors, auditors).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence at executive and board level.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a relevant professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) or MBA is highly desirable.
- Experience in implementing or optimizing financial systems, controls, and reporting tools; proficiency with modern ERP and financial software.
- Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi and operate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment.
