Role Overview

We are seeking a highly capable, hands-on CEO to lead SMPL Health through its next phase of growth — from structured early-stage operations to a scalable, category-defining health platform .This is a builder role , not a corporate stewardship position.

The CEO will be responsible for:

• Turning strategy into execution
• Building and leading the team
• Driving revenue and growth
• Establishing strong operational infrastructure
• Expanding across UAE and GCC

You will work closely with founders/stakeholders and take full ownership of the business.

Core Responsibilities

1. Strategy, Positioning & Vision

• Define and refine SMPL Health’s positioning within:
• Preventive health
• Longevity
• Diagnostics
• Translate vision into a clear execution roadmap
• Identify growth opportunities:
• New product lines (e.g., subscriptions, advanced panels)
• New markets (GCC expansion)
• New revenue streams

2. End-to-End Business Execution

• Own full P&L responsibility
• Drive execution across all core functions:
• Operations
• Product
• Marketing
• Partnerships
• Ensure alignment between strategy and day-to-day execution
• Build a performance-driven operating cadence

3. Product & Customer Experience

• Oversee development of the full customer journey:
• Testing (home kits / clinics)
• Lab processing
• Insight delivery
• Recommendations & follow-up
• Ensure the product delivers:
• Clarity
• Simplicity
• Actionable value
• Continuously improve conversion and retention

4. Operations & Infrastructure

• Build scalable operational systems across:
• Logistics (test kits, sample collection)
• Lab coordination
• Partner clinics
• Optimize:
• Turnaround times
• Cost structures
• Service quality
• Implement SOPs, dashboards, and KPIs

5. Partnerships & Ecosystem Development

• Establish and manage relationships with:
• Laboratories
• Clinics and healthcare providers
• Supplement and treatment partners
• Expand and strengthen partner network across UAE/GCC
• Negotiate commercial agreements and ensure quality standards

6. Growth & Commercial Strategy

• Drive revenue growth and unit economics
• Define and execute go-to-market strategy
• Oversee:
• Pricing models
• Customer acquisition channels
• Retention strategies
• Identify high-value customer segments

7. Team Building & Leadership

• Hire, build, and lead a high-performing team across:
• Operations
• Marketing
• Product
• Create a strong execution culture:
• Fast-paced
• Accountable

• Manage both internal teams and external vendors

8. Fundraising & Investor Relations

• Lead fundraising efforts (seed / growth rounds)
• Build relationships with investors and strategic partners
• Prepare and present business performance updates
• Ensure capital is deployed efficiently

9. Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with:
• UAE healthcare regulations
• Data protection and patient data handling
• Maintain quality control across testing and recommendations
• Work with legal/regulatory partners as needed

Candidate Profile

Experience

• 8–15+ years of experience in:
• Startups / venture-backed companies
• Health-tech, diagnostics, wellness, or consumer platforms
• Proven track record of:
• Building or scaling a business
• Owning P&L and delivering growth
• Experience in UAE/GCC market strongly preferred
