Operate and maintain chilled-water systems and related assets, including chillers, package units, DX units, and ventilation systems.
Carry out inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, and repairs to support asset availability, reliability, safety, and efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot chillers, chilled-water systems, AHUs, FCUs, package units, pumps, DX units, and ventilation systems.
- Perform first-level maintenance, installation, repair, troubleshooting, modifications, and improvements to site facilities and equipment.
- Prepare technical and incident reports, including summer and winter readiness reports.
- Manage a team of supervisors and technicians.
- Provide timely, accurate information to the Group Leader or Supervisor to meet department and client requirements.
- Comply with client quality, health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures on site.
- Use appropriate PPE correctly, maintain it in good condition, and ensure equipment is used safely.
- Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.
Qualifications, experience, and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 6–8 years of maintenance experience in the relevant field.
- Proficiency in English.
- Coordination, numerical, and communication skills; ability to understand and follow SOPs and work instructions.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and relevant job-specific skills.
- Willingness to be based in Dubai.
