About the role:

Ensure accurate, timely, and consistent accounting and tax reporting across all jurisdictions (UAE and international), including managing the accounting team, overseeing period closings, preparing reports, and interacting with auditors and tax authorities.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee accurate accounting in systems (Zoho Books, QuickBooks).
• Manage tax accounting and filings.
• Ensure timely and accurate period closing (monthly/quarterly/annual).
• Manage the accounting team.
• Prepare for audits and liaise with auditors.
• Review reports prior to submission to authorities.
• Develop methodology and standardize accounting processes.

Requirements:

• 5 - 7 years of experience in accounting/tax, including 2–3 years in a managerial role.
• Mandatory experience with UAE accounting (VAT, Corporate Tax, local compliance).
• Understanding of international accounting (multi-entity / multi-jurisdiction).
• Experience managing a team and/or working with outsourced accounting providers.
• Hands-on experience with period closing.
• Experience preparing for audits and working with external auditors.
• Knowledge of accounting systems: Zoho Books, QuickBooks (or similar ERP).
• Experience in building and standardizing accounting processes.
• English | C1 or higher
• Russian | Fluent

Advantageous, however not mandatory:

• Experience in consulting or outsourced accounting.
• Experience with international structures (holdings, group companies).
• Professional qualifications (ACCA / CPA / DipIFR, etc.)
