Chief Accountant

About This Role

We are looking for a Chief Accountant to manage and oversee the company’s accounting operations across multiple divisions. The role requires strong control over financial records, reporting, and cash flow management, ensuring accuracy and proper allocation despite operating under a single company account.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy of records
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
• Monitor and control company cash flow and bank transactions
• Ensure proper allocation of costs and revenues across different divisions
• Supervise accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger functions
• Handle VAT filing and ensure compliance with UAE regulations
• Coordinate with auditors and support audit processes
• Monitor expenses and identify discrepancies or unusual transactions
• Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and supplier payments

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience, preferably in UAE
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience handling multi-division or project-based accounts
• Good understanding of UAE VAT regulations
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
