Role overview
Oversee the company's accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, the general ledger, and month-end and year-end closing.
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and management reports.
- Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial policies, and internal controls.
- Coordinate with auditors and support financial planning and analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience; holding company or multi-entity experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, and ERP systems.
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting certification is an advantage.
Compensation
- The description states pay of QAR 10,000 per month.
- An application question separately refers to a QAR 12,000 all-inclusive package.
