The Chef de Partie manages a specific kitchen section and ensures food preparation, cooking, and presentation meet hotel quality, consistency, and hygiene standards.

Kitchen operations
- Prepare, cook, and present food according to hotel recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines.
- Manage the assigned section during preparation and service; perform grilling, sautéing, roasting, baking, and frying.
- Organize mise en place and coordinate smooth, timely service.
- Supervise and train Demi Chefs and Commis.
- Collaborate on menu planning, recipe development, and special events; execute buffet, banquet, and à la carte items consistently.
- Monitor stock and deliveries; ensure proper storage, labeling, and FIFO rotation.
- Control waste, portions, and food costs; report equipment issues and safety hazards.
- Maintain sanitation and follow hotel policies, food-handling rules, and brand standards.
- Support sustainability and teamwork; respect hotel property, confidentiality, and guest privacy.
- Attend training, briefings, and performance evaluations.
Standards and expectations
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in food preparation, cooking, and storage.
- Maintain clean, organized kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Maintain professional appearance, personal hygiene, and grooming in accordance with hotel standards.
Pay
- Pay is AED 2,800–3,000 per month.
