Certified Caregiver for Infant

Core Responsibilities

• **Daily care:** Feeding infants according to parental instructions, changing diapers, and ensuring good hygiene.
• **Safety and health:** Monitoring for any signs of developmental issues and maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.
• **Emotional and social development:** Providing a nurturing atmosphere by rocking, playing, and talking to the baby, and attending to their social and emotional needs.
• **Scheduling and routines:** Establishing and adhering to a daily schedule for feeding, napping, and activity time.
• **Parent communication:** Providing parents with daily reports on the infant's intake, elimination, and other activities, and contacting them as needed.

Skills And Qualifications

• **Nurturing personality:** Patience, compassion, and a caring attitude are crucial for nurturing and monitoring infants.
• **Physical requirements:** Ability to lift and carry infants, as well as stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• **Emergency preparedness:** Certification in Infant and Child CPR and First Aid is often required or preferred.
• **Communication:** Ability to communicate effectively with both infants and parents.
• **Professionalism:** Maintaining a professional attitude and respecting family privacy is essential
