The group is seeking a Cement Trader to expand its dry freight trading team.
The role is stated to be based in Dubai.
Key responsibilities
- Promote and expand cement-related trading, including clinker, cement, gypsum, slag, and fly ash.
- Build and maintain supplier and customer relationships across Latin America and/or Africa.
- Analyze market trends, supply and demand, and regional pricing strategies.
- Lead procurement and sales negotiations, securing favorable terms while navigating regional complexities and regulations.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with trading activity in the target regions.
Qualifications and experience
- At least 5–7 years of trading experience in cement, clinker, fly ash, gypsum, or cementitious products.
- Proven success in negotiations and relationship-building in the cement industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of market dynamics, regulations, and trade practices in Latin America and/or Africa.
- A transferable book of business demonstrating successful client relationships and revenue generation.
