CATERING SERVICES COORDINATORFull Time

Responsible to takes patient orders and other department request via phone, inputs all request orders through hospital information system, maintain a high standard of sanitation and cleanliness.

Accurately takepatient and other department orders by means of phone, ensure that room number, time of Guest order and delivery timings are clearly registered.

Follow established phone courtesy standards.

Input all request orders in the hospital information system and issue patients check for each order.

Ensure all special patients request are very well explained to the kitchen.

In case of patient with dietary restrictions inform the Dietician on duty and the Chef.

Monitor patient orders and ensure that all request orders are delivered within the quoted time.

The patient order check should have patient name, file number and room number.

Coordinate with Dietician for all patient dietary restrictions.

Co-ordinate with housekeeping for pick-up of Guest trays and tables after completion of patient meals.

Assist the Room Service staff duringpeaktimes.

Provide general supervision and coordination of catering supervisor

Fully aware and actively implement the departmental policies and procedures, local and international standards or requirements related to the department.

Participate in hospital Safety Management & Risk Management Programs.

Actively reports incidents in the system and whenever needed, participates in incident review, and root cause analysis.

Perform any other tasks within his/her competence as directed by the supervisor or Catering Manager.

Minimum Two years work experience.

Able To Speak And Read English And Arabic.
