Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and organized *Catering Services Supervisor* **ONLY LADY** to oversee and coordinate our catering operations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing catering events, supervising staff, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and supervise all catering events and functions
- Coordinate with kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Oversee setup, service, and breakdown of catering events
- Ensure all catering equipment and supplies are properly maintained and available
- Manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining quality standards
- Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event evaluations
Staff Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate catering service staff during events
- Train staff on service standards, food handling, and safety procedures
- Create staff schedules and assignments for catering events
- Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback
- Ensure team members adhere to uniform and grooming standards
Client Relations
- Meet with clients to understand event requirements and expectations
- Provide recommendations on menu options, setup, and service style
- Ensure client satisfaction throughout the event
- Handle client complaints and resolve issues professionally
- Build and maintain strong client relationships for repeat business
Administrative Duties
- Prepare event orders and coordinate with kitchen and purchasing departments
- Manage catering inventory and requisition supplies
- Maintain accurate records of events, inventory, and staff schedules
- Coordinate with finance team for catering invoices and payments
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Maintain high standards of food presentation and service
- Conduct quality checks on food and service delivery
- Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines
Required Qualifications
- *Minimum 3-5 years* experience in catering or food service operations
- *At least 2 years* in a supervisory or team leader role
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service operations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy (MS Office, event management software)
- Food safety certification preferred
