Role overview
Achieve annual sales targets by developing customer relationships across catering sectors.
Contribute to development of the Catering Department and improve team productivity through collaboration with the Catering Team.
Key accountabilities
- Set and communicate monthly sales targets to the Catering Team to support the yearly budget.
- Visit customers and event management companies to promote HVC.
- Develop menu items with the Head Chef and Director of Operations.
- Review menu prices against food costs.
- Follow up on long-term customer contracts with the Catering Supervisor and Director of Operations.
- Approve quotations and contracts before sharing them with clients, then follow up.
- Conduct customer tastings when needed.
- Review competitor activities periodically and implement actions accordingly.
- Guide the Catering Supervisor on business ideas for displays, presentations, and related best practices.
Knowledge, skills, and experience
- University degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Excellent knowledge of catering and quality control.
- Leadership and team development capability.
- Computer and MS Office proficiency; culinary skills.
- Arabic is desirable; English is essential.
- At least 10 years of experience in the catering industry.
