Role overview
Manage festivals and seasonal non-food categories across e-commerce and quick-commerce platforms.

Key responsibilities
- Develop online category strategies for Indian festivals and seasonal non-food products.
- Select products and manage SKUs using consumer demand, market trends, and sales performance.
- Plan seasonal buying and inventory requirements around festival dates.
- Manage category revenue, pricing, margins, and profitability.
- Improve product visibility, assortment, and sales performance across e-commerce and quick-commerce platforms.
- Forecast demand, maintain optimum inventory, and minimize excess and ageing stock.
- Analyze sales, sell-through, margins, and promotional performance to identify growth opportunities.
- Coordinate with sourcing, procurement, supply chain, marketing, and platform teams for timely launches.
- Monitor competitors, consumer preferences, and trends to expand category offerings.
Skills and experience
- Experience in category management, buying, or merchandising within e-commerce or quick commerce.
- Understanding of Indian festivals and seasonal non-food products and festive buying patterns.
- Experience with assortment planning, SKU management, pricing, category profitability, sales forecasting, inventory planning, and seasonal demand management.
- Ability to analyze category performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Hands-on experience managing online product categories and seasonal sales cycles; able to build assortments that support sales, margins, and profitable growth.
