About The Job
An opportunity has risen at Kai Beach for Cashier
.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for handling all cash and non-cash transactions in a beach club or beachfront outlet.
This role ensures accurate billing, efficient payment processing, and excellent guest service while maintaining compliance with company financial policies and procedures in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Process guest transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
- Issue bills, receipts, and change in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure all transactions are recorded correctly and balanced at the end of each shift.
- Handle opening and closing cash floats in accordance with company policies.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service to guests in a beach and outdoor setting.
- Assist guests with billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Coordinate with service staff to ensure accurate order input and billing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station and surrounding area.
- Follow all financial procedures to prevent discrepancies, shortages, or overages.
- Safeguard cash, credit cards, and financial records in line with security standards.
- Support compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards, especially in outdoor/beach environments.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as reports, settlements, and daily sales summaries.
- Collaborate with the F&B team to ensure smooth operations during peak beach hours and events.
- Have what it takes to join our team?
- The ideal candidate for this position will display the following attributes:
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or accounting-related certification is an advantage.
- Minimum 1–2 years of cashiering experience, preferably in hospitality, beach clubs, or high-volume F&B outlets.
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic cash handling procedures.
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in outdoor, high-temperature, and fast-paced environments.
- Flexible with working hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Integrity and trustworthiness
- Outdoor work environment in beach and poolside areas
- Exposure to sun, heat, and humid conditions
- Fast-paced service during peak hours and events
