Process customer remittances, cash, cheques, and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
Ensure transactions and documentation comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Customer service
- Greet customers and serve retail and commercial customers according to company standards.
- Explain transaction regulations and advise customers on products and services.
- Reduce wait and service times and direct customers to the right team for queries or special deals.
Financial and sales responsibilities
- Maintain optimal profit margins, solicit referrals, and identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Convert walk-in customers to IntroCard holders and help grow the customer base, transaction volume, and revenue.
Operations and controls
- Handle foreign currency, remittances, and other assigned transactions with zero defects.
- Follow company procedures and handle till cash accurately; report shortages, overages, and other anomalies promptly.
- Apply due diligence, AML procedures, and KYC initiatives to mitigate risk.
- Ensure documentation and transactions meet internal and regulatory requirements.
- Identify operational improvements and propose constructive changes.
Qualifications and experience
- Graduate or equivalent qualification in a related field.
- Two years of prior cashier or teller experience.
- Experience handling large volumes of cash is an added advantage.
Knowledge and skills
- Knowledge of basic computer applications and operations.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, customer-service orientation, and quantitative skills.
