Job Summary
We are looking for a **friendly and reliable Cashier** to join our perfume retail team.
The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, accurately handle cash and card transactions, and maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
You will assist customers in selecting perfumes, promote current offers, and ensure every guest enjoys a pleasant shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Handle POS (Point-of-Sale) transactions: cash, credit/debit, refund, exchange.
- Issue receipts, count change, reconcile cash drawer at shift start & end.
- Maintain checkout area tidy and organized, ensure correct pricing and scanning.
- Assist with product enquiries and guide customers as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred (retail in fragrances a plus).
- Good communication skills English.
- Numerate, accurate, trustworthy with cash handling.
- Presentable, customer-focused, and able to work in a busy retail environment.
