Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Repair, install, and maintain wooden doors, frames, cabinets, shelves, tables, partitions, skirting, and wall panels.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and related materials accurately.
• Carry out furniture repair, modification, refurbishment, and decorative woodwork.
• Repair doors, hinges, locks, handles, and other fittings.
• Perform minor maintenance and rectification work at client sites.
• Read basic drawings, measurements, and work instructions and complete work with proper finishing.
• Maintain tools and equipment, keep work areas clean, and attend emergency maintenance requests.
• Coordinate with supervisors, technicians, other trades, and clients and provide courteous service.

Required Qualifications

• Have at least two years of relevant carpentry experience.
• Have good knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and installation methods.
• Be able to take accurate measurements and perform cutting and installation work.
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Have good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Be physically fit and able to work at different project locations.
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• UAE experience in technical services, facilities management, maintenance, hotel, or fit-out projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of door and frame repair, cabinets, furniture, partitions, shelving, wall panels, hardware, fittings, and commercial maintenance standards is preferred.
• Immediate availability is preferred.

Workplace and Safety

• Work is performed in person at commercial, residential, hospitality, and client project sites.
• Follow company health, safety, and site regulations.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 1,800 to AED 2,300 per month.
• Benefits include employment visa, medical insurance, annual leave, and other benefits under company policy and UAE Labour Law.
