CA Qualified Construction Project Accountant - Contracting

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• **Manage project accounting and financial operations for ongoing construction projects.**
• **Monitor project costs, budgets, and profitability.**
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• **Review project revenue recognition, work-in-progress (WIP), and cost allocations.**
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Prepare MIS reports and financial dashboards for management.
• Support tendering and project teams with costing and financial analysis.
• Reconcile bank accounts, supplier accounts, and project accounts.
• Monitor budget performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Oversee payroll accounting and employee-related financial transactions.
• Ensure proper internal controls and financial governance.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

Requirements

• **Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).**
• **Minimum 2+ years of UAE experience in a contracting/construction company.**
• **Strong knowledge of project accounting and construction finance.**
• Good understanding of UAE VAT regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with ERP and accounting software.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Preferred Candidate

• Strong commercial and financial management capabilities.
• Available to join within a reasonable notice period.
• Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
